What Were They Thinking?

The capacity for people to continually astound me never seems to end. Here is an email I received today from someone looking for a room.

Hello! The following is a reply to your “Rentals For Women, Short Term Shared Accommodation” Ad on Kijiji:

From: sleaze.queen@h******.com
Hi! I am very interested in renting from you. How long wouldI be able to stay? And what are the monthly rates? 🙂

You can respond to “sleaze.queen@h******.com” by replying to this email.

So what do you think? Should I rent to her? People, take a minute to think about how your email address represents you! Hopefully it’s just a prank email, but unfortunately it probably isn’t. On the positive, my book of landlord/tenants stories grows a page a day lately!

For those looking for a picture for  the post, sorry, everything I found wasn’t appropriate!! This is the best I could come up with.

What were they thinking?

You do realize that most people are idiots right?
Personally, I think you should rent to them to increase the likelihood of some GREAT future stories.

  2. Michelle says:

I think she mis-typed. I think she meant to say “daily” or better yet, “hourly” instead of “monthly”.

    Love it lol.

You ever get any of those out-of-towners send you pictures of themselves so you can make a judgmet call of their character since you can’t meet them … likely the same ones they use for their favourite online dating service I’m sure ha ha.

Some people just have no clue or obviously do not care how they present themselves to others.

Oh well, makes it easier and quicker to weed them out and it saves the time, energy and money of reference and credit checks!

Always looking for the positives in anything!

Wow, I have never had anyone send me pictures to establish character yet, but this isn’t the first “unique” email address I have seen. Maybe it’s just where you advertise your places 8′]
